About Ridgeway Digital
We're a boutique SEO and growth agency. Boutique is a choice, not a stage — every programme is run by senior people, and you always know whose hands your account is in.
How we got here
Ridgeway Digital started in Bristol in 2017 when its founder got tired of watching agencies sell motion instead of progress. Reports got prettier; rankings stayed flat. The fix was unglamorous: smaller client lists, senior people on every account, and a refusal to bill for work that didn't move a number.
Nine years later that's still the whole model. We deliberately cap how many brands we take on at once, because the alternative is the thing we left to build this agency.
What we believe
- Sequence beats volume. Doing the right five things in the right order outperforms doing fifty in a panic. Most of our value is in what we tell clients not to do this quarter.
- Links are earned, not bought by the metric. If a site exists only to sell placements, we walk. Every link we build sits on a page a real editor chose to publish.
- Reporting is for the reader, not the agency. You get the numbers that map to revenue, in language a founder reads in five minutes. No vanity dashboards.
Who runs your account
The agency is led by Marcus Ridgeway, who spent a decade in-house and agency-side before starting Ridgeway Digital — long enough to have made most of the expensive mistakes already. Around him sits a compact team of technical SEOs, writers and outreach specialists, each senior enough to own their lane. We're part of an independent agency network, which lets us pull in specialist help when a project needs it without ballooning your retainer.
